Description

Explore 15 dramatic sculptures of abstract root forms in our outdoor galleries, starting April 9, 2010 at our Steelroots: Tobin at The Morton Arboretum four-season exhibition! From April 9, 2010 to January 2011, we invite you to this exciting, first ever comprehensive display of the Steelroots sculpture series by transformational artist Steve Tobin. Steelroots will be set amid the enchanting backdrop of the 22-acre Conifer Collection. Several of Tobin's works also will be featured near the Visitor Center. The Steelroots exhibition showcases 15 dramatic sculptures composed of massive rolled and bent steel pipes, some that soar up to 40 feet high. The Arboretum will display some of Tobin's additional, dazzling works in various media.
