Description

Discover the research of the Botany Department as they track the occurrences and distributions of the more than 3,000 species of plants that live in Pennsylvania. The exhibit, Conserving Plants of Pennsylvania, will showcase the Botany Department’s research and history of the collection that often remains behind closes doors from the public at the Morris Arboretum. This rare look exposes the lasting impact of the Botany Department’s efforts to continually study and teach about the constantly changing Flora of Pennsylvania through field research, publications, the herbarium collection and botanical illustrations. Conserving Plants of Pennsylvania will be open to the general public in the Upper Gallery of the Morris Arboretum.
