What is Landscapedia?
This site was created to share plant and vendor information and to help organize the creative process for landscape designers, contractors and garden enthusiasts. Here's how it works:

1. Sign up for a free account
2. Create your landscape project
3. Add plants to your project
4. Print your plant lists!

How can I advertise my business on this site?
Currently, this site utilizes Google AdWords to deliver ads. This provides advertisers with a trusted name while giving our site visitors the most relevant ads for them. We also incorporate display ads into the site. If you would like more information on advertising, please see our advertising section for more information.

I have a spreadsheet with a lot of plants. Is there an easy way to get it online?
You can add and edit local nurseries. If you have a lot of plants to add, please contact me about an upload using the Excel spreadsheet or csv template.

I sell plants. How do I get my business listed as a plant source?
If you are a vendor and want your business listed as a product source, contact me. Because this is a small site, there is no charge for being listed as a product source. Please submit them on the Excel spreadsheet or csv template.

Can I download copy of the plant database?
We strongly believe in the open exchange of information made possible by the internet. In that spirit, we provide a way to exchange information among interested groups. Contact me to discuss trading your plant information for ours. We will not exchange information on members for any reason, so please do not ask.

How do I use the iPhone version of the horticulture reference?
Other than an iPhone, which we don't provide, you simply need an account. On your phone, there are no complicated addresses to remember. Just use the main address (http://www.landscapedia.info), and we'll handle getting you to the right spot. For complete information, view the iPhone article in Site News.

How do I get the mobile version from another mobile device such as Palm?
The site has not been tested or developed for other versions, and there are currently no plans to do so. However, if your phone has a standards compliant web browser, you can use the iPhone version. Simply bookmark the mobile version (http://www.landscapedia.info/mobileIndex.php). There are no guarantees that the site will look pretty, but the functions should still work.

How can I find members who may be interested in my product catalogs?
Our members are given an opportunity to opt-in to receive information from manufacturers and nurseries. We will only share information on members who have explicity indicated this as a preference. Please contact us to discuss receiving a list of members who have indicated they'd like to receive your information.
