The local VFW and American Legion joined hands to bring all the veterans memorials dispersed throughout Mount Joy to one location. David Christian designed the project pro-bono and put a lot of thought into the design process which features a circular, stamped concrete walkway with a break in the circle (the break represents the soldiers who did not return home), the American Flag, and a flag for each branch of the armed services.
