Highlands Residence
Boise, ID Designed by: Chuck B. E Updated: 2010-05-13 14:46:24 The main goal of this project was to transform a steep grass hillside into multiple usable rooms. After four concept designs were presented a final design was agreed upon. The focal point of the yard would be a multiple terrace waterfall. Stone slab steps and New England flagstone would provide access between the existing upper patio, new garden bed area and lower paver patio. Upright Basalt columns added structure and texture to path and waterfall. A variety of perennials were planted to provide year round color. This project was designed in 2009. We provided concept plans, 3D SketchUp models, grading plan, erosion and sediment control plan, planting plan, hardscape plan, details, bidding and negotiations and construction oversight. The project was installed in the spring of 2010 by Sterling Landscape and After Dark Lighting. Project RatingMembers can rate this project. 1 followers
