Intensive Green Roof Project The structures’ highly efficient energy and mechanical systems meet stringent environmental certification requirements – making Pembroke North the first multi-family residential buildings to be registered for LEED-certification in the Philadelphia area. The air you breathe is cleaner, the energy costs are lower and the environment is more comfortable. David Plechner of C.M. Jones, Incorporated tells us there are four private courtyards with pavers and planting beds over a parking garage structure. Each patio measures approximately 1000 sf (4000 sf total), and planters add an additional 1280 each (2), making the total sq footage just shy of 7000 sf.
